Hey y’all! I’m Senator Molly Cook.
Molly Cook is a born-and-raised Texan, ER nurse, community organizer, and Democratic Senator representing Texas Senate District 15. She has a master's degree in public health policy from Johns Hopkins University. Since graduating and moving back to Texas in 2018, she volunteered for Democratic campaigns across the state and advocated for sustainable, equitable, multimodal transportation at every level of government. As an organizer, Cook led the Fair for Houston campaign that collected over 23,000 signatures, knocked over 150,000 doors, turned out 250 volunteers, and passed Prop B by a 30-point margin. Texas is the epicenter of poor quality of life outcomes for our nation, and good policy can save lives. Senator Cook's experience as an ER nurse and passion for organizing are the foundation of her work. Molly ran for Texas Senate to bring active representation and a community organizing mindset to Senate District 15.
